Shipping

In-stock orders placed before 2pm Pacific ship the same business day. Orders after the cutoff, and orders placed on weekends or holidays, ship the next business day. UPS is our primary parcel carrier. From our California warehouse, ground service reaches the West Coast in one to two business days, the Mountain states and Texas in two to three, and the East Coast in four to five.

Shipping is UPS Ground, priced at checkout by package weight and your ZIP code. Residential deliveries carry UPS's residential fee; shops and businesses can uncheck the residential box at checkout. Orders shipping to a California address are charged California sales tax; orders to the other 49 states are not.

You will get a tracking number by email when the label prints. If tracking has not moved for more than two business days, contact us and we will chase the carrier.

Oversized and freight items

Items too large or heavy for parcel service (presses, large jacks, compressors) ship by freight. Freight is quoted per order before you pay. Inspect freight deliveries before signing; note any damage on the delivery receipt.

Damaged or wrong items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, emailsupport@thetoolguys.com within a few days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We will send a replacement or a refund, and a return label when the item needs to come back. You will not pay return shipping for our mistake or the carrier's.

Returns

For any other return, contact support before sending anything back so we can confirm the item is returnable and issue the right paperwork. Unused items in their original packaging are generally straightforward; used items and cut goods are handled case by case.

Warranty claims

Most lines we carry are covered by their manufacturer's warranty. Send the SKU, proof of purchase, and a photo of the problem to support and we will route the claim or replace the item, whichever gets you working faster.
